Why this project exists
Credit information is abundant, but it is often fragmented, oversimplified, or wrapped in promises no responsible educator can make. The project was created to give households a calmer way to understand the fundamentals, organize their own information, and maintain repeatable review habits.
The number 850 represents the pursuit of credit excellence—not a promised destination. Credit histories, reporting practices, scoring models, lender standards, and personal circumstances differ.
Our editorial standard
We separate educational information from individualized advice.
